Yesterday night Brussels welcomed the the twenty-third Bond movie. Nice plot but found it a bit too rough, too violent and too less romantic. This harsh feeling was nicely compensated though by the personal story from Bond's childhood and emotional moments throughout the whole story. This was to my great surprise :-)
My favourite character in this last episode was indubitably Mrs Moneypenny (played by Naomie Harris). This time she's on the field but at the end of the movie she decides to stay behind the desk. Naomie plays this role very convincingly. Plus, as an agent she's very nicely dressed.
Have a look (left) at this mandarine-coloured outfit. Fashionable and vivid colour, light, perfect fitting, nearly a must for young professionals, for the office but also for a drink after work.
If I wasn't of a light, pale-pink complexion I'd go for these colours. Otherwise, I opt for the look on the righthand side: loose shirt without collar and ocher-coloured pencil skirt. Ivory colour is smartly broken by black pipings around the neckline and two small pockets.
At the end of the movie Eve Moneypenny was also wearing in a pale-blue dress with delicate pleats around the shoulders and waistline. Pity there is no picture of this garment available.
To give you some idea on the dressing style of the latest Mrs Moneypenny I selected some outfits:
Miss Moneypenny: James! But, why are you so late?
James Bond: I fell out of an airplane without a parachute.
Miss Moneypenny: Have you got a mission, James?
James Bond: Yes. I am to eliminate all free radicals.
Miss Moneypenny: Ooh. Do be careful.
